AC Fans a Plus

:cool: Recently I installed three new ac powered fans. These fans are called muffin fans, they are wider, and have more fan blades.My theory was more fan blades more airflow,which was correct.They are also much quieter than dc fans. And do a far better job of cooling. I will try anything to get more out of my bird,but I think I am at the limit.:D A little voice within keeps saying push it more! More speed Mr. Scott. Go where no man has gone before!:D

AC fans can be a bit dangerous. If I'm not mistaken, they cause electromagnetic interference, which can corrupt data on your HDs and floppys. Try testing it if it is significant enough to damage your components by filling a disk with information, leaving it very close to the fan, and checking to see if the files are still intact
