First of all thank you readeaing my thread. second escuse my bad english.. :p
Ok. I'm a newbie in overclocking and i have 1 Duron @ 700 and 1 MB Epox 8KTA2. Ok. I've changed the L1 with the pencil. I've change the CPU Ratio from 7x to 8x all went well (i have some heatsink problem but that's like ready). I've tried a Cpu Vcore 1.850 and a Cpu RATIO 9x and my box does not boot. (The screen stays ofF). what seems to be my problem? I have the Power suplly at 235 W but i've tried with one @ 250 W and there is the same problem. Should I try with one @ 300 W??
Thank you for helping!

first off WELCOME TO THE FORUMS

i think its your pencil trick

......pencile really sucks
go to a automotive parts place and pick up a rear window defroster repair kit

there is some conductive paint inside of it

use it to connect the L1s

make sure you do each set of L1s seperatly

let me know how it goes

as for power
try the paint first and see if it works

if not then i would try power supply......................

You really should have at least a 300W PS.I would check the AMD approved list on their website.

I had the same problem the first time I unlocked a chip and I used a conductive ink pen. It would work at some multipliers and then nothing at the others. Take it out redo (with something better than pencil if you can) and then try it again.

Btw I would use the highest rated psu you can just to eliminate the Possibility of that being the problem.
