CS:S bug or my drivers....

I have a 9800 pro using the newest catalyst. Anyone have a problem in CS:source where everything freezes for a second or two(jittery freezing) then comes back to normal. YOu know how when you pick up a gun it flares up a symbol on the side for a few seconds? thats what happens with all my equipment after i come back from a short freeze.

This happened when i first started playing, but reinstalled driver and it went away. but now its happening again. I tried reinstalling my drivers but no luck.

srry i dont know, I have source on my comp and it runs fine, until my card overheats and i have to restart. I heard that reinstalling might be the way to go for that problem, but srry I couldnt give ya any help.

Well I know some people were complaining about a similar problem with HL2. I don't think it was Source specific, but HL2 specific. My only assumption would be something is wrong in that you have problems loading new animations.
