Was a little unsure if I should go with that Ram or go with PC 4000.

Im upgrading from a ABIT KT7A 1.1 Athlon 850mhz 256 ram 64 meg GF2 graphics, will I notice a big difference?

Thanks

Rich

Don't forget to buy a good PSU.......450W to 600W.

And there will be a dramatic difference from the KT7A to the AV8.

I am still in the dark ages with a SR7-8X SIS648 and a P4 2.53 and an ATI 9500 PRO

so, I can't really comment on what is good, best or better of what you have listed.

Looks like you have chosen some of the latest and greatest. Good luck.

I think the RAM is good, but oyu might want to wait a few months and go for PCI-Express and a nVida 6600GT because PCI-Express IS the future of I/O whether you like it or not and the 6600GT will outperform the 9800pro 98% of the time.
The rest of the system looks good though. Like Grunid said, a good solid PSU will make or break your system so you might as well make it a good one.
You plan to overclock that beast? If so, then definately go for a solid PSU like a OCZ, Fortron, PC Power and Cooling, or a new Antec. Something with 20-30A on the +12v rail is usually pretty solid.

Oh yeah, just noticed your last comment about if you will see an improvement or not.....
HELL YEAH!!! That system will rock the pants off of your old rig!!!!! :attn:
