i want to flash my pro to an xt and i can run at xt speeds but it needs better cooling, so is that good? it has the heatsink right?

also my friend said i should flash my card first to see if it works then flash back, should i do that?

That will work to cool it, ive never seen that one before but this is the one im getting for my sapphire 9800pro, which has great reviews and everything.

I would get the ATI silencer rev1, i have it and it works good and i hear its easyer to install than the VGS silencer but the performence is exactly the same. I will also be getting those RAMsinks

well the vga is so cheap lol i gotta get it, i was gonna get those sinks, but my friend told me there a waste lol (but it works for me since i may not have the cash for it LOL)

The ATI silencer rev 1 is like $25 Jacobman linked it, its the first link. It was cake to put on no fooling with that plate thing

I would still get the slilencer1 and yes you need to have ramsinks, which you are still supposed to be able to put on with the silencer1. Im not sure about the silencer3.

I have tht exact one .. and my biggest complain is .. is tht the fan is sooooo damn slow.... i mean i couldent hear i had to open the case and check if it was workin .. yes its GOOD thing if your into silence but im into performance and i needed a mean loud fan blown thrusting air as fast as possible :)

well i should have enough for either, but id rather spend less, but if i must ill get the rev 1

im gonna have 90 in a few days, i have 20 from last month, 20 in ma piggy bank!! and maybe 8-10 at the end of the week so 140 in total maybe

If you wan't ramsinks check the classifieds someone is selling them for $.80 apeice with cheap shipping. I think Ramsinks are a wise investment becuase memory gets much to hot when OCing for anyones comfort.

That pic they have isnt of a ATI rev1. Once RAMsinks are on they are on unless you want to do some tedious work, many people have ripped off their memory getting the sinks off

well im not gonna use the sinks for ram, since there vga sinks, plus i already have a heatspreader so i dont really need ram sinks.

this is really gay, i got my paycheck and it only had 74 bucks on it wtf? i usually get 80-85 but this month i only got 74? (paper boy :) ) i dont get this. Sure i was late on the weekends but i always am and if he got a complaint he would have told me. I even missed a whole days worth last month and still made 82 something, and now i only get 74 wtf? this is such bull now i dont have money for all the stuff i want. I should have gotten about 140 or something so i could buy all my crap and still have money for xmas presents. Now if i have to buy an x-mas present i wont have money for anything but ram so gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
