OK, um, well I'm going to buy an AMD (most likely duron 750 or 800) system pretty soon and I just wanted some advice....
1)750 or 800?
2)What would a good overclocking mobo be??
3)What kind of heatsink should I get, should I go overboard???
4)PC133 ram will run on a 200 or 266 MHZ system??? How? What's the deal with this DDR stuff? Is it better?? Is it worth the price?
5)Thanks.

u ve better by a tb 1000 c (266 bus) its the best cpu to overclock can reach 1450 mhz.2nd for mobo by a abit kg7 or asus a7vm266 or the latest gigabyte model, and the 3 ddr mobos have the amd761 chipset wich has till now the best perfomancce..if u dont want a ddr board by the asus a7v133 c,its a very stable mobo and cheaper from ather.

Asus makes a way better board then the Abit... MSI makes a really good board also.. Why do you want a 800 or 900 mhz duron... the 1.4 is only 109 dollars @ www.pricewatch.com .. the duron is like a pen3 to celeron... for 40 dollars 0r so just get the T-bird.. you might want to make sure you have a 300 + power supply.. if you want to over clock it get water cooling..if not a volcano 6 or something like that...just don't get an orb.:D
With all the headaches that I hear from a lot of customers at the computer shop about ASUS & having friends that own them complain to me about them I really can not say that "ASUS makes a way better board than ABIT". We all have problems with our mobos at the start but after you figure out the small headaches then you start to enjoy what you got. I like ABIT & they do require a fair bit of tweaking but isn't that what we all want? At least you don't have to fiddle with switches on the current mobos available to us. My $0.02 on it. Buy whatever you can afford without goin' hungry;) .
