My computer is at 1.2GHz, but I was wondering is there a speed at which we as humans cannot keep up with the speed of machines????
Is this even possible??

I know I can't keep up with mine...but it can keep up with itself. That's why we keep going for more speed..that and I love to tinker. :)
If you want to *see* an improvement from your overclock, get into SETI. :)

we are a long way from not being able to see the difference a faster pc will make, in the long run i mean, if u take into account software etc, a state of the art PC now couldnt render a computer animated movie in real time for example, so more speed makes a difference to stuff like that. with games its is similar as games get more complex u need more power to keep dframerates up... the human eye cant see a diff between 24 FPS and 100 FPS, although im sure i can....

they are totaly different ways of 'thinking' i don't think human minds have a speed limit, just how good someones memory is
