windows xp and 3dmark2001

ok....i was running win2000 pro and was getting around 3000 pts(the normal for my geforce2 pro/gts)

after updating to the profession version of xp i got a score of 2300!!!!

where can u find some new drivers for xp?! im assuming this is the problem.....

3rd party i mean.....the nvidia det pack gave slightly better performance but not by much

nevermind! there was another issue!!!! im hitting over 3000 now...god i love xp

well....i originally had the manufacturers' drivers for 2000....but when i updated to xp these didn't work worth $hit....

so i got the newest detonator drivers....started up the setup...installed...and thought all was good

but for some reason...the hell if i know why....it installed the 2000 nvidia drivers...

so i just manually changed the drivers....and poof...all fixed....

i read the reviews/bugs on these drivers...didn't see anything like what i got...actually i didn't see any bad feedback at all (gotta love nvidia) ...just a weird quirk i guess *shrug*
