Thermal pads revisited

Just to make sure, I dont need to apply and thermal grease to the bottom of my HSF if it comes with a black thermal pad already at the bottom correct, if it is the first time the HSF is being used? Thnx.

Actually, you want to take off that nast thermal pad and apply some thermal grease. Thermal pads are quite poor at what they do.
