Video Overlay? what's that?

i tried to play a dvd movie with ATI multimedia Player that I just installed. It said playback has failed because one of the following reason
1) audio device is in use or not installed (yes it's installed and not in use)
2)Display overlay is not available? (the topic question)
3) Not enough video memory (hm..not likely)

any idea?

I get the same error.

I just use Powerdvd and it goes away :).
