I picked up an old Compaq ProLiant ML530 Rackmount server from a friend and it only has 512MB of memory and I wanna add more. It uses PC-133 Registered Unbuffered memory SDRAM, I believe, and I was wondering if I should use Compaq memory or just good brand PC133? Never dealt with rackmount servers or Compaq before so dont wanna mess anything up.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure compaq will charge an arm and leg, so I personaly would take the chance and get some good brand name reg unbuffered RAM...check to se if it's ECC too, you probably need ECC

Crucial Memory for ProLiant ML530 (http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp?Mfr%2BProductline=Compaq%2BProLiant.&mfr=Compaq&cat=RAM&model=ProLiant+ML530.&submit=Go)
always liked Curcials DB of memory compatibility =)
Im sure if you get any Ram with the exact same specs you'll be fine:
SDRAM, PC133 • CL=3 • Registered • ECC • 133MHz • 3.3V • 32Meg x 72
