So far i have only bought items from newegg and Mwave. This past week I bought a new videocard from ZipzoomFly. I have never been more pleased with a company. I was comparing the cards and by mistake I bought the wrong card. By the time I relived it the order already went thought. I called them up and told them what happened. They told me they call me right back. Not even tem min later I get a call It was already sent to fedex, but they had fedex hold the card went and picked it up and dropped off the card I wanted. The card was $4 more and they refused to charge me for it and I still got my card Monday.
The card was the same price as newegg and had free shipping. I still love neweggs layout its much cleaner and the reveiws are helpful. But Zipzoomfly buyersguide is very nice. :D

Yes ZZF is a very good retailer, I just wish they had more selection. Now one can beat the newegg's inventory.
YA I love ZipZoomfly!! They are usually cheaper and stock all the newer/popular items, but newegg does have alot of inventory. But you cannot have both.
More inventory = Larger warehouse = more overhead
I think it is better to stock the newer popular items w/lower prices. Than carry everything. ZZF does it right.
I've been using ZZF more and more after Newegg had their "glitch" that lost me a customer of my own due to their miscommunication. Very solid retailer.

Yeah, I built most of my current system when they were known as GoogleGear. I plan on getting most of my A64 parts from them also. Very good seller.

same here :D
My favorite place to buy harddrives. Instead of just wrapping it in bubblewrap, they pack it in a solid foam box. Best packaging this side of Mushkin's airbag.
ZZF is great...i LOVE their free shipping things! yeah i wish they had bigger stock too...o well

i give zzf a 0 out of 5 stars. I call them no response. Email them no response. Can't cancel cause my order is supposidly packed. Not to mention they already charged my cc. Im sticking with newegg i order my stuff and in 2 days it arrives.
Cyrix- their free 2 day shipping is fedex now. UPS is an option if you need the damage.

oh ok. I don't like fedex in my area... They're slow and they usually shred small letter size packages. The boxes get here fine, but then they usually run into/over something with their truck. I like UPS a lot more in my area.

I love ZipZoomfly. If they only increased their selection a tad bit they can make newegg go out of business. :burn: :p
2 day Fed-Ex free shipping is cool too. I don't like Fed-Ex but hey it's free and it's 2 days!

I returned a bad stick of ram. It went ok, they replaced it pretty quick with a new one. They get a good rating from me :D

they are good but their prices is a little stiffer than newegg IMO, i've been comparing video cards and stuff, and their price seems to be higher, now i have to find a place that doens't charge tax, both newegg and ZZF charges me tax they are both in CA i think.

Yeah their in CA. Going to be out there in about two months. It's going to suck having to pay sales tax. :(

the sale tax is so big here, you buy a 500 dollar piece of HDD and you're paying close to 40-50 bucks worth of tax, that's outragous, last time i got my laptop, i paid closed to 70 bucks worth of tax :(

Bought from ZZF twice and no problems. The last order from them was around mid summer on 2002 and it took about 1 1/2 weeks to get my sound card. But it was probably an isolated incident :)
