XP works with all 98 programs?

Does anyone know if XP works with 98SE programs and games? I'm curious to see if it works with ALL the games!! I have a lot of money in games and programs and would hate to have to load patches for all of them. 1 or even a few but not all. Anyone have a beta?

So far, all the game that I had on Win98/ME was able to work on XP... ( CS, Q3A, StarCraft, Diablo2, Jane's USAF... etc... ) and they seems to be better...

The best thing about XP on my games is when I run my PSX emulator ( ePSxe ; works on XP too... ), the game performance is better that when I'm using Win98/ME.... higher fps....

Need 4 Speed is the only problem I have with XP and EA Sports will not respond with a viable fix until next quarter.

are you guys using the home version of XP or the professional version? and also sence you where beta testers when XP hits the stores will you then have to pay for your beta version,will oyur beta version stop working? or will you just be able to keep using it?

The OS stops working after 90 days. All the beta versions are Pro. I will install The Home edition soon.

You should just remember that XP is an NT-based OS. Not a whole lot of people realize this.

Also, Trancebear, try creating a desktop shortcut for Need for Speed, then right click the Icon=>Properties=>Compatibility=>win98/ME
