I'm sharing an ISDN connection over a wireless network. The modem for the ISDN has usb out so I'm running it to the main desktop computer and from the computer I'm running it to my wireless router.
Everything works. I can access the internet from my wireless laptop and access shared files between the two.
What I'm wanting to do is be able to shutdown the main desktop computer from my laptop without running fancy software to do it. I have everything needed to shut down the computer in the shared folder which resides on the desktop computer. But of course when I run the shortcut from my laptop (going through the shared folder on the main computer) it shutsdown my laptop rather then the desktop computer.
Basically all I want to do is run a program from the network and have this program run on the computer that it resides on rather then the computer that it is being run from.
Thanks
