Im going to be in the market for a gig of memory soon and im looking for something not much more then 300 canadian that will do pc3700 speeds on a nf7-s. i couple have caught my interest which i would like some info or experiances on:
Cheap samsung (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=9545&vpn=SAMSUNG3200-512M&manufacture=Samsung) which i would not normally consider but have heard from questionable sources that they overclock very well. is there any truth to this? there is also some corsair value select stuff which is dirt cheap.

CORSAIR TWINX CAS2 SILVER HEAT SPREADER (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=10037&vpn=TWINX1024-3200C2PT&manufacture=CORSAIR) or CAS2 HEAT SPREADER ACTIVITY LEDS (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=10370&vpn=TWINX1024-3200C2PRO&manufacture=CORSAIR) both just in my price range, which of these is better?
i have never required to overclock memory before so is it too much to expect pc 3700 speeds out of any of these modules? please list any experiances or info you have on the above modules or any recomendations you have for someing else in my price range

Since you want to run at pc 3700 speeds, then you should get some ram that supports 2-2-2 timings at pc 3200. That corsair that you are looking at does like 2-3-3 @ pc 3200. You can spend alot less and get much better ram. Look at patriot ram. If you want good ram for cheap this is it, it supports 2-2-2 @ 3200, uses tccd chips, and overclocks great. I will edit a link in. :)

thanx for the link, that ram does look like good stuff, but i cant find it here in canada! is there any other ram that is just as good of a value with the tight timings?

As far as I've seen, thats some of the best price/performance ram. There are many others that carry the same design but cost a little more. This is ram uses the samsung TCCD chips with the brainpower pcb design which is supposed to be really good. How come you can't order that to canada? Doesn't Newegg ship internationally?

no newegg has never shipped to canada, and i am also limited to a few stores in canada because i do not have a credit card. does anyone have any experiances with samsung modules? timings are not a big issue for me so if they clock well i would be happy
