Mce 2005

I'm watching a few video's of mine that I have saved on my media PC. Well actually I just got it running with MCE 2005 and I put a downloaded video of a game i use to play on to see how it works. It played it great. However I did not have the ability to fast forward or rewind like I can with Real Media player or Windows Media Player. Also i remember when I use to use myHTCP you could program the remote so that when you hit the button forward it skipped say 10min or something like that. You could set the time. Any ideas on how to make something possible for MCE 2005?
