Is anybody using this OS yet? How is it compared to XP? Is it superior? Bugs? Does anybody know of a reason not to use it?

Drivers are the biggest issue right now IMO. I am unable to get drivers for my Dlink Wirless PCI card so I am unable to get online. Others have issues with chipset drivers and graphics but its touch and go for most ppl.

Are you referring to the XP 64-bit beta from MS?
If so, I have tried it.

Had no trouble finding drivers...from video (Radeon) to SATA (SI), they were available without too much searching, but quite a bit of the OS itself seemed to be non-functional.
Couldn't even access Windows Update with it.
Looked and acted pretty much just like XP 32-bit.

Where did you get your sata drivers?? What version did you use?? Does anybody know what the latest version is?

These appear to be links to some 64-bit drivers. I'm not CBS, don't fire me if some of my facts are wrong!

I was thinking of testing out the XP-64 beta as well, would any of you guys say it is worth it? I am curious if there is any performance benefit from using the 64 over the 32-bit version on an Athlon 64. Are the 32-bit apps (like office) compatible? What about games???

I tried out Fedora core 3 x86-64, but I had major issues with the drivers, considering i could barely find any.

Is XP-64 worth it?
