Hi,

Wanted to know what you boot-time was and how to improve it, when i say boot-time, i mean when you computer is on the desktop with no timer. Mine is around 17 seconds.

last time i checked i had like 25 seconds time to run bootvis again i think

I'm not sure what mine is, but I would guess about 20 seconds... I have a PCI PATA RAID card that loads a bios, and a PCI SATA RAID card that does also, so those take a little extra time... My actual load is very fast though other than that.

My boot time takes a while as well - I have a SATA card in my system.

I dont worry about boot time much - I am more concerned about performance in the games and apps I run. I tend to turn my PC on once a day, and then off at night.
