View Full Version : window not perfect, advice needed

Ok I finished cutting the window and I messed up, as I was cutting from the inside the jigsaw couldn't make the right angle on one of the corners and this is what I got:

And to top it off while I was grinding it the grinding wheel broke off and scraped the paint a bit so now I have to repaint it anyhow.
What do you suggest for fixing the corners?

Can't you just redo the cut and 'push it' up a little further? What I mean is, make the window a little taller than planned and recut the bad part.

I'd personally just leave it though. But then again, if something works and looks like crap I am usually quite happy. :D

I tried that and turned out even worse as the metal starting trashing all over because of the thin part that was left.....
ok I started cutting a new shape this time with a dremel, tomorrow I go and buy some reinforced cutoff wheels and finish it.
