I have got an p4 1400@1700 with 122 FSB my memory running up to 122 * 4=488
simple cooler temp of cpu=min30 max40 and of mb min20 max 26
vcore 1.7
my pc freezes sometimes without any reason.
does anyone nows what problem is can be?
an how fast can you run an 1400, i cant get above 122 because win crashes. anyone ideas :mad:

If I remember right, the PCI divider is the same, which means you're running wour PC bus/cards above 40mhz, well above spec. Try setting the bus to 133, or 133 but only with 3 channels (more cpu speed but less memory bandwidth).

That 133 i tried but i event can do 125 because the pc starts and i dont get any picture and after a while he shutsdown and restarts
i would like to set it higher but now it freeses sometime so...

My ram seems to top out at 122 fsb as well at 4x, try setting the ram to 3x/ reboot to windows, then restart and try higher at 3x, seems to work better that way.
