The network path was not found.

This is the message I get when trying to access my other computer on the network.
The network consists of 2 computers, and both are mine. (I'm the admin...)
Both PCs run a Windows XP platform (SP1).
A network card (Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection) is connected with an R-49 cable to the same card on the 2nd PC.
Internet connection transfers properly to the other computer, but I can't access files present on any PC from the 2nd one...


Suggestions would be appreciated.
 
Did you setup sharing?

If you didn't share out any resources, nothing is going to be there to connect to. Local file sharing is turned off, by default, in XP.
