SLI - Details? Cards? Motherboards?

Ok, as many people have found out, I am in the Market for a New PC, unfortunatly it will probably be my last New PC for many many years, because of impending finatial obligations :(

SO I want to make it a good buy, some what "future proofed" so I can sneak in upgrades from time to time :D

I come here asking about SLI,

From my Understanding, All Gforce 6 Cards suport SLI. Is this correct?
I'm an Intel Man, so I'm hoping for news about the Nforce4 chipset for Intel, but there is little to be found, anyone know of a release date?

Now Currently I have chosen pretty much my entire system, apart from the Graphics card, I want one with SLI suport so that when the Nforce4 Mobos hit the Market I can pick one up and swap out the Abit Board I have my eye on for a Nforce4 Powered board, and get a second SLI compiant Graphics card.

so the Graphics Card Choice is a Hard one. from reading the 6600GT looks like it is the card I am seeking, not to hard to find, not to costly.
but now I run into a small delema, what companies are best for Nvidia cards? I've been an ATI guy since the 7X00 cards, so this is new ground. advise me please.

nVidia is also making an nForce 5...think of it as an nForce 4 for Intels plus DDR2. Last I heard was the first quarter of next year.

after xmas, unless you can find an asus board instock which will cost you around 250-300.

Asus nForce4 Deluxe SLI mobo is out now, 20th December (at least here in Holland) :attn:
