Question about this G-skill Ram

It's TCCD and rated as DDR550 at 2.5-3-3-7. My question is if it was at DDR400 would the timing be 2-2-2-5? Because I was thinking about getting this ram http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-890&depa=1
The OCZ has tight timings but it's only rated at DDR400 and it's 5 dollars cheaper. Which one should I get? They're both TCCD.

Yes it'll do 200 @ 2-2-2-5

if you are going to run at 200mhz 2-2-2-5 timings id get the ocz

I would go Gskill all the way, I own that pair you listed and I couldnt be any happier, 289mhz 1:1 at 2.5-4-8-4 ? what more do you want?...

Great memory for sure, can't go wrong here. If you're looking for some 2-2-2-5 action, then i would hunt down some BH5, it'll do those timings at higher MHz, where as the Gskill won't put those timeings at anything higher than 210 (for me). Gskill is great for high bandwidth machines such as AMD's, with low multi this stuff rocks.

Yes, mine is on the way, gauranteed 275-290 and possibly 300 @ 2.5-3-3-7...1t :attn:

This article makes OCZ seems like it's the better ram to get. Am I missing something here?

It might be a PRIMO sample, and anyway Gskill GAURENTEE 275+ where OCZ does not.
