The newegg rma that wasn’t

Last weekend I went up to Vermont skiing, I left Friday, and checking my emails was the last thing I did. When I come back I see that my order has bee rmaed for a refund , funny thing is I didn’t rma it! :confused: I got 3 emails, all say they arrived on Friday and the subjects of them were.
Your Newegg.com RMA Confirmation , Newegg.com has received your RMA# 10549995 , and RMA# 10549995 summary of merchandise received
I’m gona try to work this out when they open Monday, hopefully I can get it re shipped then and not have to wait another week to get it. :(

newegg rma-ed my order for a refund but I didn’t rma it , as in newegg went through the liberty for rma-ing my product for me when I didn’t want them to. I cant accuse them yet though until I call and find out why, but I’m mad.

I think what happened is that since you weren't there for delivery to accept the package, they returned it to the sender which means it's automatically RMA'd.

Let me try to explain this one last time. I never cansled my order, but I got a email from them saying I did. They credited my account and never shipped my order, so I will have to reorder and wait another week to get it in.

newegg calles canseling your order "rma-ing it for refund" , so i did to ,this is probally causeing the confustion sorry

Hmm, I have cancelled orders with Newegg before and never had it come up as an RMA. Is it possible they weren't able to deliver it and it was returned to sender or something?

I have had nothing but good luck with newegg as far as service. They have gone above and beyond on more than one occasion.

ill find out soon enough what they will do to fix it , they day after i ordered there prices went UP on everything for some reason, so im hopeing i dont have to reorder

ya it was returned to sender and the credit card was creited, so i count that i canseling the order

The question is why was it returned to sender? Were you away from your home for a while? If so, then it really isn't newegg's fault.

RMA= Returned Material Authorization. Have they ever left a note on your door where they tried to deliver it. As has been mention in a couple of other post if they attempt it a few times and can not contact you or you do not respond to a note they left they will send it back to the shipper. A Shipping Company is not a warehouse company so they will send it back due to lack of room to store it. Some will even add storage fees if they have it long enough and then complete the delivery.
