Wine Installation ?

How do I install wine on RedHat 7.0 ?

Honestly, I couldn't get it to run no matter what I did. Some of the libraries conflicted, etc. I got it to run in Mandrake.

Well, I got it working on SuSE which is basically RH-based. You should get the RPMs, I didn't have any problems installing them. When you run it for the first time you'll need to configure it, too. I never actually got it to run Half-Life but I can use notepad :D.

Well i had RH 7.0 for a while and i found the best way to install it is to use the source code. Download the source and extract it. Go to extracted dir and type ./tools/wineinstall

Also, I found Half-Life to install best using the command wine --winver win98
