I use remote desktop to my desktop computer alot and I have noticed that you are unable to put the computer into "hibernate" but you can tell it to shut down. Is there a way around this?

Create a new shortcut with "rundll32 powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState" as location.

If thehkv's suggested command has no effect, you may need to specify the path to powrprof.dll...

Rundll32 %windir%\system32\powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState
