I have a Thunder 1.0ghz@1.13ghz via 1.85 volts. I have a case with one intake fan on the side. My cpu temps are around 39c idle. Is this a good range. Every thing else is very chilly.

Sounds good to me. What are your load temps and what temp program are you using?

you could probably go up to 1.2 and still be safe

Yeah, the temps look fine. Try to bump it up a little to. (1.2)

Is that vantec the copper vantec?

I am getting 27-28 C idle temps and 40-41 load temps (folding) with my TBird 1 GHz @ 1333, 1.775 volts. (SK6/YS Tech 40 CFM) You sure are sending that chip a lot of voltage for only 1.13 GHz.

I'm using a KT7A Raid with bios wz110b and the register 52 hack. If you havent tried that, try it, it should bring your idle temps way down.

Sickboy, that is the aluminum Vantec FCE 62540D. It what I have had for 4 months and my temps are great. I use Wpcredit and lapped it to a mirror-like shine. Who needs melted down pennies anyway!

People who can't afford higher cost sinks, people like me. Speaking of prices of parts, is that board in your sig problem free because I'm thinking of putting together another seti system and they look cheap (cost) from what I've seen. Ever have any problems?
