3.4e overclocking help!

Hey all, i just got a 3.4e, have a max3,ddrbooster, and ocz perf series pc4400, and some pqi pc4500, with the multi set at 14 i can only get to 245 1:1, and then its not stable, this is with the 4400, with the 4500, i was able to get 280fsb (with a 2.4c), but it wont do anything near 250 or up. Any ideas on what givew?? Do i need some different mem, or am i just stuck with what i have now??

System specs:

Abit 1c7Max3
OCZ 520 power stream
BFG 6800GT
Ocz pc4400 (per series)
2 samsung 120gig sata (raid 0)
audigy sound card
Exos water cooling system

Have you found the CPU's max clock yet (ie: use 5:4 and clock the CPU without clocking the mem)? I wouldn't blame the memory yet unless you've found the CPU's max clock. What voltage are you using? Cooling/temps?

No i havent tried 5:4 yet, my voltages are 1.5-1.6 being more stable at 1.6, but should i use the 14 or 17 multi??

Just ran some bencmarks, 275fsb@ 5:4, temp 27c, voltage 1.512, mem voltage 2.7, the ocz stuff is supposed to be good to 277, so we'll see, i'm gonna try the pqi and see what happens.....

This won't impress you much but I had no trouble (yet) with GeIL Golden Dragon set to 225Freq or DDR450 with a 900FSB with the SL7E6.....I really wonder what the CPU I have could overclock stable. The day I tried this OC I ran a rather long Digi8 movie off the camcorder to the HDD to disc and then deleted many gigs of files and defragged to keep the PC in use that day and all went well. I have run as above off and on for a week. I went up two steps on the memory voltage out of four steps and upped the CPU one step. I use and Albatron PX865PE Pro II.
