I have a 512 MByte TwinX Matched Memory Pair.

CMX256A-3200XL XMS3208v1.1
0436016-3

XMS3200 256MB 400MHz 2225

Suma's thread states that they are:

- XMS-PC3200XL (2-2-2-5):
Samsung TCCD 4ns (Revision "F")

Guy wants to buy it and of course is asking if it is BH-5 Winbond which it is not according to Suma's list...How does the Samsung chipped memory stack up against the Winbond stuff ???

Thanks for any and all information about these modules.

Well, I answered your PM.
If it's XL it contains Samsung TCCDs.

BTW, the only PC3200 from Corasir that contained BH-5 is the first revision of the Corsair PC3200LL. The PC3200 (non LL) contained BH-6s.

Suma.

hey hookem, hows the prescott running (good i hope). like suma said its samsung tccd chips. they run pretty darn good @2.2.2.5 but not as fast as bh5 with 3.3 volts. but they also are more versitile in that they will run up to 300 mhz in some cases, running a myriad of latencies..
