Is 3-4-4-8 bad for pc 3700? I could not find any info at all on this ram.

its probably samsung or hynix chips.. those latencies suck in my opinion. there is alot of other ram (pc3200 w/tccd chips) ,crucial ballstix that run much tighter latencies at hier speeds..

Yea sounds pretty awful to me. I wouldnt run CAS3 less than 260
