I couldn't overclock my computer through the BIOS (it was disabled) so I am now trying to do it using SoftFSB. But since I don't know anything at all about computers I'm having a bit of trouble. I don't know what motherboard my computer uses, and I have no idea what Target Clock generator is supposed to be.

use everest home edition, you may get lucky and find out more info about your motherboard there.

SoftFSB is good but doesn't allow for voltage adjustments, which is pretty critical for overclocking.

Try ClockGen instead. It still doesn't allow for voltage adjustments but gives you more to play with.

you can also try 8rdavcore if you're lucky and your board is supported. it allows for some adjustments.
