how to get rid of this trojan?

i have a beast 2.07 server on my machine, its in the dxdgns.dll file but i cant delete, it tried looking on google but those tutorials dont seem to help, tried nav 2005 cant delete it since its in use. plz help me how can i get rid of it?

Are you doing the scanning from safemode and with system restore turned off?

system restore is off, but not in safe mode, ill go do it in there.

Safe mode should work. If it doesn't just move the file to the desktop so it won't load. Then when you reboot you will be able to delete it since the file won't be loaded.

Try going into "Services" and shutting it off first. Then delete it.

Start Menu->Control Panel->Adinistrator Tools->Services (has a picture of gears)

Find it and hopefully it will have the same name. It will be running somewhere. Change it from "Automatic" or Started to "Disabled" and then don't forget to stop it from running.

You should be able to delete it then.
