oc with dual ddr

i thought it was just my ram but my friend has the same problem. We can't overclock with dual ddr. As soon as we switched over to dual ddr we couldn't oc. Any ideas?

can you explain in more detail what you mean?

what settings?
what psu?

once i changed my set up to dual channel ddr i was unable to oc anymore at all. I think it's is a 300-350 watt psu don't think it is the settings because my friend has the exact same problem.

what MB do you and your friend have? Dual-channel requires more Vdimm to run at the same speed. If you had one module already maxed out, you won't be able to run the same speed with two modules.
