Donīt know if the WildAndy one will work.

The Doors posted these links a few days ago, and it solved my problems. Thanks man !

Donīt worry. English is not my mother language either.

But there are no good brazilian overclocking sites.

Que saco !!!

what stepping is your CPU?
for cBo's you only have to connect VID3 to VIS, and you new default Vcore is 2.05V.
use a stereo wire as they are very thin.
If you dont have a cBo... Just post what you hava and i'll tell you what you need to connect

i'm new to this and i have no clue where are they...
sorry for the lame Q

Those pins shown in the diagram are on the underside of a FC-PGA coppermine socket 370 CPU chip. I have done this mod twice and it works. But, I must warn everyone, if you connect the wrong pins, you might fry your chip. Different pins need to be connected for different CPUs depending on the default voltage of that individual chip. Different CPU stepping have different default voltages. Personally, I don't recomment 2.05v unless you're planning on using super cooling (peltiers and/or water cooling).

Maybe you guys wanna check out the article at http://www.overclockers.com/tips630/ written by yours truly :).

That's a really good article. A shame I only saw it now...
I'm using the pin-hole method, wich IMO is the safest bet here, and I recomend everyone else to do it.

yeah, thats a great article. that should answer your questions

Thanks for the kind words guys :). This is my first article and all the positive feedback I've received is very encouraging.

I've already got a topic for another article. Less people will probably wanna do that mod 'cause it's a bit extreme ... Yeah, that should do for a teaser ;) :D

If anyone has any feedback (good and bad) please don't hesitate posting it or mailing me.

be very careful if you wire your CPU...first check stepping as there are 2 different ways to wire your chip. Also several things to consider. Make sure the wire is not touching any other pins besides those that need to be wired. Make sure you wire the correct pins. And make sure you have about an hour and a lot of patience.

I used a single wire from an old IDE cable...also had 2 pairs of stats to pull it tight and some very shapr small scissors to cut it perfect when i finished. Oh yeah and a magnifying glass

If you can adjust voltage in bios you can always go for the 2.05 default and lower it.

I vidpinned my Celeron, and before that I practiced on an old P1. If your vidpinning job looks better than this, you'll be fine. :)
