I have this case: http://xoxide.com/logisys-janus-case-black-cs605bk.html
Is there enough space in there to water cool my cpu and gpu? I'm wondering this because all the cases that have water cooling have the bottom portion of the hard drive "shelf" chopped off.
Can this case be water cooled? Any tips on making it all fit?
Yeah i think you can work with that case , it just depends on how much stuff you have in it right now. Just go to Frozencpu.com and get all the measurements of everything you need ( radiator , pump , t-line(or res) , fans for radiator , etc. ). Just use your imagination on where everything would go , people like to put the pumps on the bottom and the radiator on top of the case near right under the blow hole. If you got the tools i dont see why that case would be a problem. I did some research myself and i found that i could fit a Black Ice Micro 80mm radiator with 1 fan , dangerden 12v pump , dangerden cpu waterblock , t-line , koolance gpu waterblock , etc. , all in my Shuttle ST61G4.
Tight fit but it would work. Anyway just find some open spots in you case and measure them out and figure out where u wanna stick your stuff.
Good Luck

Ok, thanks. Looks like I might have to do some modding to get it all to fit. But I guess thats what this is all about. :D
What size of tubing would you recommend? I see 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2". Which one would work best? What are the pros/cons of bigger/smaller tubing?

1/2", it's better in every way.

I'm rebuilding one of my water setups and am going to use the 7/16" tubing for it.

I think Im going to go with 3/8" tubing. What cpu block would you recommend for an LGA775? I can find very many good blocks for that socket.

I don't have any experience with or know of any lga775 blocks, but swiftech and dangerden are regarded as the highest quality items. The benefits if you're thinking more than just cooling benefits, being the smallest ones, of having 1/2 tubing is the availability of cheaper and quieter pumps that will not be choked in flow rate to the point where it actually hurts temps, 1/2 tygon tubing does not kink as many generic small ones do after some time of being curved (it's really irritating to see your temps shoot up because 3/8" tubing decided to fold). 7/16(same thing as 1/2" setup except for tubing, buh duh) is good too if you don't want to use clamps but zip ties at least are still recommended. I've worked with both 3/8 and 1/2 and am currently using 7/16 just because i can but with my setup (external), it is just as good as 1/2". It also looks cooler if you add dye and or go UV.
Anyhoo, whichever u decide in the end, swiftech and dangerden is where you want to shop. swiftnets.com, dangerden.com. read the reviews, look for something in the forums ;) enjoy!
