Stupid Q

I put 2 512 sticks of Corsair Valu Salect ram in my dads compu and its running in Single channel, how do I put it in dual channel? I could not find an option in the BIOS...Thaks

Whether something is in dual channel or single channel is purely hardware - there is no option to enable it. Your motherboard either supports it or it doesn't. If it does, just make sure you have one stick in memory slot 1, and the other stick in memory slot 3. Memory in slots 1 and 2, or 2 and 3 will not run in dual channel. It has to be 1 and 3. Once this is done, the motherboard should then automatically recognise the dual channel configuration.

what kind of computer do you have? We can't help you if you don't provide us with info.

If you have a board that is dual channel capable, then you need to use either slots 1 and 3, or slots 2 and 4 to enable dual channel.
