I just bought a CM Stacker, and will have to re-do my loop, but it got me thinking that maybe I should buy a new CPU block for when I swap everything over. At the moment I have a poly top DTEK Whitewater, I've heard the poly tops crack alot + I hate the 3 barb design (so messy.)
I looked at the TDX with Brass top option, also aware of the Storm G4 having some new material for the top that doesn't crack.
I've emailed about the Storm but no reply as of yet, do you think its worth the loss of performance (which I believe it to be) of going to a TDX with brass top to eliminate a risk of cracking?
I'm toying with the idea of getting one of the cylindar type DD resevoirs aswell, purely as a space filler in the huge case (something to look at) Any experiences of them cracking? I know the bay-rez ones are prone to it and I dont particularly want that new material Bayrez one, its ugly as sin :)
