animation pics ???

so uhhmmm where would a guy get a animation program to build one of those funky graphic pics??? is there anything i need to know about this program..im not a programmer by no means but if i could be directed to an easy one to use that is the proper format for the username pics here...i would appreciate it a whole bunch thanks all :)

Try Ulead's (http://www.ulead.com) GIF Animator 5.0 (available on 15 day free trial from the link), or there is an animation editor with JASC Paint Shop Pro 7........

Or alternativly, ask us nicely, and we'll make you one............

Dunno if they're around still, but I used to use Gif Animator and Gif Construction Set a few years back.

hey thanks reddeathdrinker...ive chosen the alternative route and decided to ask nicely so you would make me one :)...would you mind at all making me a pic for here plz???i would really appreciate it...as my graphic capabilities are somewhat limited...im not sure how complicated they are to make so i cant even give any sugestions of what i'd like...is there a cerntain number of graphic pages allowed etc ???

I'd be willing to make you a gif... But I can't do anything fancy like most of the other animated gifs (my current avatar is my best work.....)

There is a 300Kb limit on the avatars, but that's all, and the 'Animated GIF Crew' can probably make a pretty good one and stay under the limit. All we need to know is what you would like for your avatar. We could just throw something together, but you might not like it, and so telling us first is the perferred method.

uhhm ive been thinking about this for a while i'd like a wizard type guy casting a "spell" of some sort of effect if this is too much we can cut it down or what ever..as you can tell i really have no idea what im doing where that is concerned

Red, Do you use animation shop 3. I suppose I should actually read the 300 page book that came with psp7, but the book seems to leave out all information regaurding advanced techniques. It took me forever to figure out how to get additional plugins to work in psp 7.

The only reason I like psp7 better than adobe 6 is it opens up instantly and you can right click and paste new images. Its good for quick stuff. And I only paid like $70 for it when it came out. BIG PLUS.
