Memory.........DEAD?

i have 2x 512 pc3200 samsung memory. 1 of the sticks in the slot works when i boot up. I put the other in solo, and it wont display monitor or do anything.

Is this stick of memory bad ? Can i fix it ?

sounds dead to me.maybe you should consider getting 2x512mb of ocz gold ram?
