Hi, i have a stick of 512mb unbuffered Rosewell ram.

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=20-223-006&depa=0

Manufacturer: Rosewill

Type: 184-Pin DDR SDRAM
Error Checking: Non-ECC
Registered/Unbuffered: Unbuffered
Cas Latency: 2.5-3-3

I have it in a DFI Lanparty Ultra Revision B NF2 and a AMD xp Mobile 2600+

fsb = 133 multi = 15 and i have it at a 1:1 ratio

two problems.....

The system will consistantly just restart, no blue screen no warning, and the ram only shows up as 256mb

is there something i am doing wrong? is unbuffered special ram? what should i do here?

i'm assuming you tested in all slots?

Is it a single sided stick? It's possible that the board can't read the density of the IC's. Definitely try it on another system though, to make sure the results are repeatable.
