bulding a friend a pc he is pretty low on cash so i got to decide a card for him all he wants to use it for is world of warcraft it has to be nvidia and my question is which one of these 2 cards would be best. A mx4000 or a Fx5200
find an old Ti4200 or something of the true gf4 line. it will smoke that 5200 and the mx4000!
you should be able to find one used here on the forums, or on eBay. good luck

iam getting it from newegg.com and range for one is about 50-55$ thats why i need to know which of the 2 is better
Correct me if im wrong but isnt the 5200 the replacment of the mx4000. I've had fun with a MX4000. Then one day it just blew up. I only oc once at a lan and not even that hard. and then it just failed on me! now to be replaced with a 6600GT :)

Get the fx5200. Also make sure it has 128-bit memory interface.

get a 5200 but man, ur MIssing out on a LOT on the ti4200 or even ti4600.
neither the mx4000 nor the fx5200 has a fan and will blow up with anything beyond minimal overclocking.a friend of mine has already been through 2 fx5200,s in one month doing nothing more than light overclocking!!! so i would strongly recommend against any nvidia product at your price range.

I would not get either of those cards. Shop somewhere else for something else.

I don't know why you want only nvidia. You should be able to get a Radeon 9200 Se for about $55. That will easily smoke the 5200. In diablo 2 my 9200 gets about 80fps where as my Ti4200 8x gets around 60. The games are both made by blizzard so I would assume it would also be good for World of Warcraft

5200, just get the one with the fan built in...PNY sells them with fans, well most of the time....
or a 9200, but personally my 5200 killed the 9200 in my other machine...but they aren't set up the same. either would do fine, but i do not recommend the 4000
