Water pump power

Is there any benefit to having the pump DC vs AC? I tend to like AC because of the ability to keep the water circulating after the computer shuts down.

with dc, you can over/undervolt the pump for more/less flow. it also turns on and off with your comp so you dont have to unplug it. i just use a relay tho.
