View Full Version : Problems installing client
I decided that I want to jump in and start helping the OC team, and Stanford, but last night when I tried to install the client the install kept locking up. After I put in my name and choose the install folder, setup just stops. Anyone have any clue what is going wrong? I also tried downloading the client again, but same thing. I tried 7 or 8 times but no go.

Try Uninstalling the program, then deleting the F@H folder from "C:", "Program Files", then reinstalling. Are you using a hardware or software firewall?
Setup doesnt even get far enough to create the folder. I just installed it on my computer at work. The install isnt finishing at home. I guess it doesnt like my computer.

Not to doubt your intelligence but are you sure you downloaded the correct client software for your OS?? I know I've done it before!!

Try going to the Task manager and closing evrything thats running. I had a similar problem closed everything and install went ok. Don't know why it worked but it can't hurt to try.
Welcome to the Team.
