Boot.ini help

I need the boot.ini file to fix my dad's pc, but i cant find it on my PC to copy onto a disk. I have windows 2000 Pro. How to i get/ make a boot.ini file?

you have the cd for 2000? I would think you coulc copy it from there.

nope, the CD's broken.

go to a command prompt, type in "attrib -r -h -s c:\boot.ini"
