Hey Guys,
I'm sooo sick of my slow download speeds and I'd like to mult-link a couple of modems in my computer.. effectivly I'd use one modem as full upload, and one as full download.. or both full down load, or both full upload... ect you get the idea..
Any articals on this?

i think this is possible
but in order to do this u need
2 phonelines
2 modems
maybe 2 accounts for isp
and the software
i don't know if this is possible in win98 but if i remember correctly u can do this in win2k without anything

I did find a proggie at cnet for this, but your ISP has to support the capability of high speed access.
I'll get the link up in a bit - have to dig through my e-mails.
You'll need:
2 modems (maybe even the same brand and model - not sure)
a splitter jack
the program (MultiLink, I believe)
of course, phone line so that you can hook the modems up..
You may need more - I'm digging through cnet now.

I can't seem to find it - sorry about that.
I do some more checking around at various places, but it doesn't look promising.

Howdy Phendish and Ambient,
T'is I uhh never mind aboot me.. but aboot this multiple modem using.. look no further than your Windows F1 key.
Yes that's right.. k.. wait.. I'm using Win98SE.. assuming F1 (Windows help) works in other Windows..
Ok.. so once you're in Windows Help.. go to the Index.. then you type in Multiple modem.. there it will tell ya what u gotta do to set up 2 or more modems.. and how your ISP has to support PPP.
Hope that helps(?)
