Does anyone know how you delete an entry in MSCONFIG cause this file called Bundle.exe shows up in it I've search for it but I can't find it anywhere here's the pic of what it's called.

It is malware: http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/bundle/

To fix that entry, you can find that key using regedit and delete it, or you can download hijackthis from www.majorgeeks.com and do a scan and tell it to fix that entry automatically. In order for this to be successful however, the infection that this indicates will likely need to be removed.

You should disable system restore and clear all temporary files in your user directory, then restart in safe mode (press F8 when booting). You should have downloaded and updated spybot S&D and Adaware then let them scan and automatically fix any problems they find while in safe mode. Then you can use HJT if the problem is still there after restarting.

To delete your temp files - you can download CCleaner (crap cleaner) from www.majorgeeks.com to do this automatically.

Actually, what you should do is this:

Navigate to C:\documents and settings\dave\local settings\temp\

And delete bundle.exe - if you are unable to, stop bundle.exe from running by end task on it through task manager. Then delete it.

Then press windows+r and type regedit and hit enter. Find HKLM\Software\vgroup and delete it. Find HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete that value you see listed in the msconfig screenshot above.

Restart and you should be free from this affliction. That is how you fix this, but seeing that you are infected with this, my previous advice would still be good to follow as this infection requires manual installation - which means to me that you are probably infected with other malware also. Let us know how it goes, and if there is anything that you cannot seem to get rid of.

Some really good guides on the forum can be found at these links, the second one will probably be most useful for getting any of your problems fixed, while the first guide is more involved for computers:

The schadentech link looks good for the basic process, but there are more details that may be useful in both the links above.

Finally Got Rid Of It

I got rid of it thank god I don't even know how it got there to be honest it's been a while since I installed anything. I did what you said I.M.O.G thanks for the step by step guide and thanks to everyone else too who put in a kind way of getting rid of it. I tried them all out on my other machine as that was too infected.

Thanks again everyone.
