I just got a UPS and it has shutdown software with it in case the power goes out. However, running the console version of F@H it doesn't let me shut down windows (i use 98SE) unless I first close the DOS window that f@h runs in. Is there a program that I can download to shut down F@H automatically right after the power goes down? If not, I'll probably have to switch to either the ScreenSaver version of F@H or SETI :(

you should Ctrl+C out of the program so you dont corrupt your work unit
***edit**Thanks for all the help. I found a program called shutdown pro. It will let you reboot at a set time everyday, or after a set period of time. I have tried it on one computer and it works.

I know, but the whole idea is to be able to have the UPS shut down the computer unattended.
I don't think there are any progs out there, so I'll probably d/l the SS version tonight :( :(
