Still very new to this stuff,

but listening to all of you is *fantastic*! <grn> I have two sticks of 512 OCZ DDR in my system. What's the best way to a) identify exactly what it is and b) what latency it is? No point in trying any tweaking unless I know what I'm starting with, right? Will Sandra tell me this, and if so, how? Thanks!

open your pc, look at the sticks, and go to ocz's site when you have the model number.

most software read the SPD, which may not always be 100% accurate.

you could also try CPU-Z, which may tell you info about the model number.
