View Full Version : Anybody ever got ahold of a cDO 700, 750, or 800 SECC 2?
I just printed out the latest version of the Intel Stepping guide, and it list cDOs for the 700, 750, and 800, all 100 fsb and SECC 2s. Yet I don't see overclock scores of any of these chips in the Overclocker's Database. Did Intel ever release them???
It's hardly likely they were put in circulation late since SECC 2 chips are hard to find anymore, period.
And I think there is a mistake on the Intel guide, because they list a retail cDO 700 SECC 2 and a retail cBO 700 FC-PGA as SL45Y.

There's only a few chips with the S-spec listing unless I missed something.

It has in the past been a reliable source for best overclockable Intel CPUs. I will take the time to research my inputs more thoroughly in the future. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Just checked a site www.pcprogress.com that has an extensive list of SECC II chips listed. Stepping unknown. example: Pentium III 750mhz, 100mhzfsb, 256k L2 cache (oem) $104.00 US. They also have the 700 for $102.00.
I got a cC0 700 from PCnut quite some time ago, it was really overclockable. Hopefully the Headnut :P will find some cD0 slot 1 P3 (if they are produced) for the die hard slot 1 fans.
