OK, so I decide to play my old game, Homeworld. Yeah, I know it's old.
But I get to the final mission, you know, Higara...
I have the strongest fleet I've ever had, and I've wiped out every red ship in the area. Suddenly Captain Elson hyperspaces in.
He says, "This is Capton Elson of the Destroyer Kapella..." And then his entire fleet lays into my mothership with everything it's got!
Before I can think, "Force-target his ship!" I'm toast.
Even if I go back to my saved game, he still comes after me, and my mothership is dead in seconds, like he has a superweapon or something.
Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Captain Elson attacks you? Now, its been a few years since I've played, but isn't he your ally? Did you already destroy the enemy mothership? If so, why didn't the game end right there when you destroyed the emperor's flagship?
